Everyone wants to look
slimmer. The good news for you is that if you know a few
tricks you can look thinner in a matter of minutes
without even really trying - no food changes involved!
People can very easily be deceived when it comes to how
you look and since it's not like you have to wear around
a sign stating your body weight, what they see is what
they think. Fool them with these tricks.
Stand Taller
You may think you are
standing tall but I bet you can do better. Right now
take a deep breath in and then let it out, feeling your
upper body sink. How much did your shoulders drop?
Likely a significant amount. This shows you were holding
tension and when tension is being held, you don't look
as tall. An elongated neck and upright rib cage is the
real secret to looking taller so that's what you need to
improve on. Now that the shoulders are relaxed, pretend
a string is pulling the blades together and then open up
your chest while envisioning your heart rising up
towards the roof. That will put this area of the body in
the proper position that exudes confidence. Next lift
the head up ever so slightly and take another deep
breath in. This should be your stance from now on.
Wear Solid Colors
When it comes to
dressing, nothing is going to beat solid colors. While
stripes can be okay if they go in the up and down
direction, solid is still better. It is best if you try
not to cut your body up right in the center at the waist
with two different colors so a good choice might be
wearing a black pair of pants with a longer, darker
colored sweater or shirt over top. The extra length in
the shirt will again give the elusion of a more
lengthened appearance.
Wear Your Hair Up
Wearing the hair up in
some fashion is another great way to look slimmer. It
helps lift the appearance of the face up and adds a
touch of sophistication to your look. For men, always
having a neatly trimmed haircut will do the trick. Have
a clean; pulled-together appearance is automatically
more attractive to most people so others will not notice
the shape of your body quite so readily.
Wear the Right Shoes
For women, if you are
going to wear boots try and find ones that go to just
below the knee. This is the ideal place for them to stop
as it gives the bottom of the leg a thinner appearance.
Boots that cut off mid-calf tend to chop the leg up and
make you look chunky so it's something you should avoid.
Adding in some heels is also another good choice because
again, it's going to help with the tallness factor.
So don't worry too much
if you've got a lot of weight to lose. While you
definitely should be getting your diet and exercise plan
in order so you get some true weight loss happening,
that process could be a little slow (and should be so
the weight stays off). When you want to look better
today, start by looking at how you dress and carry
yourself. Confident people are always more attractive to
begin with so develop this quality in yourself and
you'll be amazed at the attention you get and how much
better you feel about yourself.
